How to use the spinning wheel

1. Type or paste your options in the box, one per line. You can add names, numbers, tasks, prizes, food choices – anything.
2. Click Spin or tap the wheel itself.
3. The wheel slows down and stops on a random option. The winner appears below the wheel.
4. Click Remove this option if you want to pick the next winner from the remaining entries, or tick "remove automatically" to do it every time.

Is the wheel really random?

Yes. The winner is chosen using your browser's built-in secure random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues) before the animation starts, and every option gets exactly the same size slice. The spinning animation simply shows the result. No one – including us – can control which option wins.

Ideas for using the wheel

• Classrooms: pick a student to answer a question, choose groups, or decide the next topic. It keeps everyone alert and makes it fair.
• Giveaways and contests: paste the names of everyone who entered and spin live on YouTube, Instagram or a video call.
• Family and friends: decide who does the dishes, what to eat for dinner, or which movie to watch.
• Games: truth or dare, party challenges, board-game turns and quiz categories.
• Work: choose who presents first in a meeting, or pick a random task from your to-do list when you can't decide.
• Yes or no: press the "Yes / No" button for a quick coin-flip style decision.

Tips

• To give one option a higher chance, add it more than once.
• Keep options short so they fit neatly on the wheel. Long names are shortened on the wheel but shown in full when they win.
• For large lists (more than 50 entries) the slices become thin, but the result is still fair and shown clearly below the wheel.
